UpTown Woodbridge Site Plan

A site plan is the overhead drawing of the whole community. It is the closest thing you get to walking the land before anything is built. Most plans for a townhouse project cover the same basics.

• Home placement: where each block of towns sits and how it faces the street.
• Roads and parking: internal roads, driveways, garages and visitor spots.
• Green space: parks, walkways, landscaped areas and any buffers along the edges.
• Access points: how cars and people enter and leave the site.

Two homes with the same floor plan can feel different depending on where they sit. The site plan is how you tell them apart before you choose. That is why it usually gets asked for first.

• Lot position: corner, end and interior units each have their own trade offs.
• What you face: a park, a walkway or another block of homes.
• Daily routine: how far you walk to your car and how you pull onto the road.
• Quiet or busy: distance from the main entry and the through traffic.

The site is in Woodbridge, part of the City of Vaughan. Weston Road runs north and south through this part of town, and Teston Road runs east and west toward Highway 400.

• Highway access: Highway 400 is the main route south into Toronto.
• Transit nearby: York Region Transit runs local routes on the main roads here.
• Everyday errands: Vaughan has plenty of plazas, grocery and schools across the area.

Fieldgate Homes has not released the site plan for UpTown Woodbridge. Pricing, unit counts and occupancy have not been released either. When those details come out, the site plan usually comes with them.
